The Irene Werner label strives to present a product which appeals to a global market. The product has an air of nostalgia, yet is fresh and contemporary. Much preparation, time and work goes into the hand making of each product, therefore presenting a unique, eclectic, quality piece.

Bags and cushions are embroidered by West African craftspeople using traditional embroidery techniques.

Products are sewn by an experienced and talented team of tailors, many of whom are refugees from war torn countries throughout Africa.

All pieces are lined with African retro style cotton lining. Most bags and cushions include a beautifully hand beaded buckle, handle or charm key ring, crafted by Zimbabwean bead workers.
